Shipping

Phydeaux Designs & Fiber ships all over the world.  In most cases, your order will ship via the United States Postal Service (USPS); in some cases, large domestic orders may ship via United Parcel Service (UPS).  Shipping charges are weight-based using current USPS prices.

Domestic shipping

Orders shipping to United States addresses, weighing up to 15.9 ounces, will ship first class mail.  Orders weighing 16 oz (1 lb) or more must ship via priority mail.

The weight of a one skein package is 6 ounces, and increases by approx. 4-5 ounces with each additional skein.

Ready to ship yarn will ship in one to three business days.  Shipping notifications are sent when shipping labels are printed (the night before or day of shipping), including tracking number.

Dyed on order yarn may take four to six weeks to dye, dry, skein and ship, or longer under extenuating circumstances.

International shipping

Phydeaux ships globally via USPS international first class mail.  The weight of a one skein package is 6 ounces, and increases by approx 4-5 ounces with each additional skein.

Shipping expense for one skein packages outside of the US varies from approx $9 US (Canada) to approx. $13.50 (Australia).  Each additional skein is approx. an additional $2 US to ship, making multiple skeins more cost effective for you to order.

Ready to ship yarn will ship in one to three business days days, but will take one to four weeks on average to reach addresses outside of the US after shipping.

Dyed on order yarn may take four to six weeks to dye, dry, skein and ship, or longer under extenuating circumstances, and will take one to four weeks on average to reach addresses outside of the US after shipping.

IMPORTANT:  your destination country may assess customs, duty and other taxes to your order.  I must comply with US federal customs law and fill out customs forms accurately and truthfully, showing the price paid for your order, marked as "merchandise."  I cannot mark customs forms as gifts.  I appreciate your understanding the importance of our not breaking these federal laws.
